Here is a little history on ShrunkenTreasures:
Designed and developed by myself Cheryl Cox. The designs came into being in 1974 when my daughter was only 5 years old and would play with nothing but the 11 inch fashion dolls like Barbie. Trying to find a toy that would get her away from only one type of toy I purchased a one inch scale doll house and furnishings for her filth Birthday. Passing her room later that evening she was crying uncontrollably, After she calmed down enough to talk she informed me that Barbie could not standup in the house nor could she set on the furniture.
I tried to no avail to find a Barbie Doll house that was built like the 1" scale. I started building the houses that I referred to as Scale Models. Over 30 years the Models and furnishings have become ShrunkenTreasures. View this site to see the Models and Furnishings.
ShrunkenTreasures is a family owned and operated enterprise. All items are handcrafted and customized for each customer, in the color and style you choose, no house is made before its time. All photos are not of actual items but represent style and color. Some of the photos are of actual furnishings and dollhouses, Rugs, and Wall Art.
Houses are made of real wood, all are made by the order, we do not carry stock of any items other than Art and Rugs. Most of our items are made to order so you can chose the color and style you want other than what is in stock at the time. It will take approx. one week for furnishings and approx. 2/3 months for house construction. A deposit of 50% is required upon order the balance is due before delivery can be made.
Because our items are entirely made by hand, no two pieces may be exactly alike. We do strive to maintain the same quality and dimensions in each piece, particularly when sold in pairs, but can not guarantee exact sameness.
